Seth Eggert
Hailing from Northern New Jersey, Seth Eggert grew up in a family of NASCAR enthusiasts, inspiring his pursuit of a career in the motorsports industry. During college, he subscribed to iRacing, which sparked his journey in journalism as he began covering the iRacing.com IndyCar Open Oval Series for iRacingNews. After four years with iRacingNews, Seth shifted his focus to real-world motorsports reporting. In 2016, he joined Tribute Racing, later rebranded as Motorsports Tribune, as a Staff Writer. That same year, he earned an Associate’s Degree in History from Mitchell Community College. By late 2019, Seth expanded his role in the industry, joining the team at Kickin’ the Tires as both a Staff Writer and eSports Editor.
Outside of writing and covering NASCAR and iRacing, Seth works as an Administrator at the Mooresville campus tutoring center of Mitchell Community College, where he is qualified to tutor in 38 subjects, including Communications, History, Math, and various electives.
Justin Schuoler
Growing up around race tracks for 30 years leads Justin to his latest project with Motorsports Reference. From racing motocross in the mid-90s to working various roles at local clubs, his experience ranges across flagging, tech inspection, scoring, announcing and as a race director. In 2017, he ventured into independent journalism with Speedway Media and Kickin’ the Tires covering NASCAR, Supercross, Trans-Am and NHRA with two awards from the National Motorsports Press Association. He currently focuses on his treasurer role with the NMPA and covers NASCAR primarily through Motorsports Reference. He and his wife Rachel, award-winning NASCAR photographer, reside in the DFW Metro just south of Texas Motor Speedway.
Outside of writing and racing, Justin works full-time for an Internet Marketing agency and his own website design company for local businesses and non-profits. He enjoys cheering the Dallas Stars and booing the Dallas Cowboys.
